mansted is a carefully crafted Danish knitwear brand known for its emphasis on quality.
We prioritize the use of pure, soft materials and create flattering, comfortable shapes with distinctive knitwear details.

Our knitwear pieces are produced with almost no off-cuts to reduce overconsumption. We use no plastic buttons and polyester, we use natural fibres that are recyclable, and minimize the use of synthetic yarns step by step.
From AW24 on, all pure cotton knits are organic, the lambswool and merino wool knits are mulesing-free, and the inevitable bags to ship our pieces are biodegradable. We encourage partners and retailers to reuse and recycle them.
To improve and secure our aims for an ethical, low-impact production as best as possible, our suppliers work with certifications such as Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), GOTS, OEKO TEX and the BSCI - Business Social Compliance Initiative.

For the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Mansted celebrates artistic expression through the fusion of contemporary art and exceptional knitwear craftsmanship.
Inspired by the tactile works of Danish artist Marianne Thygesen, the collection translates layered textures, painterly compositions, and organic forms into beautifully crafted garments. The carefully curated colour palette reflects the depth and richness of Thygesen's artwork, while poetic imperfections become a defining design language.
Delicate slanted florals, flowing knitted lines, expressive hand-painted prints, airy gouache textures, and vibrant crayon-inspired details create a collection that feels both artistic and effortlessly wearable.
