About Jonathan Ho
Jonathan Ho is a multidisciplinary creative based in Amsterdam, working across design, fashion, branding, theatre and contemporary jewellery. Originally from Kuala Lumpur, he graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2017, where his studies in Contextual Design shaped his interest in how objects are framed, presented and experienced.
His creative path moves fluidly between disciplines — from furniture design to spatial concepts, fetish wear, perfume branding, marketing and costume design for the stage. This broad background gives his work a distinctive sensitivity to atmosphere, audience and storytelling.
For Jonathan Ho, design is not only about the object itself, but also about the world built around it. He is interested in how people discover, connect with and ultimately choose to buy creative work. His approach highlights the importance of narrative, experience and emotional identification — especially within contemporary jewellery and fashion.

Spring/Summer 2027 Collection Inspiration
Spring/Summer 2027 marks Jonathan Ho's womenswear debut. The collection is a small capsule developed from variations of a single all-in-one bias-cut bodice, exploring the dialogue between 17th-century Dutch Calvinist aesthetics and the flowing modestwear silhouettes of the Nusantara archipelago.
Through a restrained palette, fluid silhouettes and considered construction, the collection brings together two seemingly opposing worlds: the sobriety and structure of Northern European dress with the sensuality and tropical sensibilities of Southeast Asia. The result is a series of versatile pieces that celebrate cultural hybridity through a contemporary design lens.
