Founded in 2019 by Xingze Fashion, a family-run company based in Hangzhou, China, CAKO emerged from decades of expertise in garment manufacturing and textile development. Originally producing private-label collections for established domestic and international brands, the company developed a deep understanding of fabric, craftsmanship, fit, and the relationship between clothing and the body.
What distinguishes CAKO is that it did not begin as a fashion label in the conventional sense. For many years, Xingze Fashion operated behind the scenes, producing cashmere knitwear for some of the world's leading luxury houses. This experience laid the foundation for a brand built not on recognition, but on quality.
The launch of CAKO represents a shift from manufacturing for others to speaking in its own voice, creating for a generation of women who value quality over labels.
